• Children – 8 years of age or older weighing 45 kilograms (kg) or more—100 mg once a day. For anthrax :

• Adults : adults and children weighing 45 kilograms (kg) or more—100 milligrams (mg) two times a day (taken every 12 hours) for 60 days.
• Children : Children weighing less than 45 kg—Dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor. The dose is usually 2.2 mg per kg of body weight per day, two times a day for 60 days.
